Delivery
THE AMERICAN is honored and excited to service your lunch delivery order. However, due to our physical space, we can only service a limited number of delivery orders each day. So please schedule your delivery order early.
Delivery service is available between 11am-12pm, and 2pm-5pm daily. Delivery minimum is $50. A 10% delivery fee is added to the order to cover bike messenger costs. We currently offer our lunch menu (www.theamericansf.com), desserts, bottled beverages and daily specials (announced on our facebook page) for delivery. The maximum number of sandwiches we can deliver is 30.
We work with TCB Couriers bike messengers to make sure your order arrives on-time, and still hot!
How to Order
- Email your order to orders@theamericansf.com. Same-day orders must be emailed to us by 10am. No exceptions.
- We will call you back to confirm the date, location, contact person and delivery time, and process payment via credit card over the phone (Visa/MC/Discover)
- If we are unable to service the order for the proposed date/time, we will call or email back an alternative date/time.
We understand that a grilled cheese sandwich must be served and eaten while it’s still hot. Therefore, we only deliver within about a 1.5 mile radius of our restaurant. If you’re not sure if you’re in our delivery radius, please email us and we’ll let you know.
